THE ROLE

We're searching for a creative, organised, and trend-focused Social Media & Content Specialist to bring Bamboo Blonde to life across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms.

This is a hands-on, execution-led role spanning concept development and filming through to editing, publishing, and performance reporting. You'll play a key role in driving community engagement, expanding our audience, and creating culturally relevant content that resonates with our fashion-forward community while delivering measurable commercial impact.

With a strong instinct for short-form video and a refined creative eye, you'll ensure our content calendar runs seamlessly and consistently. Sitting within the Marketing Team, you'll collaborate closely with the wider business to ensure our social presence reflects the brand's aesthetic, energy, and growth ambitions.

You will be responsible for end-to-end planning, publishing, community engagement, and performance tracking, ensuring all social channels align cohesively with brand campaigns, product launches, and key marketing initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced fashion environment and understands how to translate brand campaigns into cohesive, high-performing social moments.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Film, edit, and publish engaging short-form content (Reels, TikToks, Stories) that is on-brand, trend-aware, and performance-driven
  • Develop content concepts that align with campaign launches, product drops, and seasonal moments
  • Write compelling captions and on-platform copy that drive saves, shares, comments, and conversions
  • Maintain and execute the social content calendar, ensuring consistency and timely delivery
  • Oversee daily community management, including engagement, UGC coordination, and influencer support
  • Repurpose campaign assets, influencer collaborations, and customer UGC into platform-optimised content
  • Identify and act on emerging trends quickly, creating reactive content when culturally relevant
  • Monitor social sentiment and foster authentic, values-aligned relationships with our audience
  • Track and report on content performance weekly and monthly, sharing insights and optimisation recommendations
  • Collaborate with marketing and e-commerce teams to align storytelling with broader brand and commercial objectives

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 13+ years experience creating and managing content for TikTok, Instagram, or similar platforms (fashion, lifestyle, or e-commerce preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience filming, editing, and producing high-quality short-form video content (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar tools)
  • Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok culture, algorithms, and growth strategies
  • Ability to translate trends into elevated, brand-aligned content
  • Confident in analysing performance metrics and adjusting content accordingly
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • High attention to detail with a strong visual and creative sensibility
  • Portfolio or examples of previous social content work required
  • Based in Bali (or willing to relocate)
