Short-Form Video Editor — Jakarta, Indonesia (Remote)

We're looking for a video editor based in Jakarta to join us immediately.

You'll create short-form video content across multiple client brands — reels, TikToks, Shorts, and video ads designed for social media. This is hands-on editing work, not strategy or account management. You'll work directly with the founder and creative team, receive clear briefs and brand assets, and be expected to deliver polished content with fast turnaround.

What you'll be doing

• Editing 15-30 second social media reels and video ads
• Working with raw product footage, brand assets, and stock content
• Adding text overlays, transitions, music, and motion graphics
• Producing content across multiple client brands weekly
• Adapting content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts

What we're looking for

• 2-3 years of daily video editing experience (not occasional or hobby-level)
• At least 50% of your work should have been in digital marketing, social media, or advertising
• Strong portfolio of short-form social content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts)
• Proficiency in CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
• Strong sense of pacing, trending audio, and what performs on social platforms
• Ideally based in Jakarta, Indonesia
• Reliable internet and comfortable with time tracking

Nice to have

• Experience creating content for eCommerce or DTC brands
• Motion graphics or After Effects skills
• Can work independently with minimal direction

Compensation

$500/month for 100-120 hours. Strong performers move to full-time quickly — we have an immediate and growing need for video content across our client base.
