Shopify Developer - Senior Backend Engineer

We are hiring a Senior Backend Engineer (Part-Time) for GOAT (Al Start up Company).

Working Conditions

-Fully Remote

-Minimum 20 hours per week

Responsibilities

-Build, customize, and maintain Shopity themes using Liquid

-Implement Shopify Online Store 2.0 features and sections

-Develop private or public Shopify apps using Shopify APls

-Integrate external systems (ERP, CRM, logistics) with Shopify via API

-Automate store operations (order processing, inventory synchronization)

-Build scalable backend features and functionalities

-Identify and resolve system performance issues

-Set up, create, and maintain unit tests and integration/ functional tests

Requirements

-5+ years experience as Backend Engineer (internship not counted)

-MUST HAVE 1+ year experience as Senior, Lead, or Principal Software Engineer Traveloka, Tokopedia, Gojek, Bukalapak, Grab, Blibli, Shopee, Tiket.com, Garena, OVO, DANA, and Ajaib

-Hands-on experience building or managing Shopify stores

-Strong proficiency in Go

-Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, and encryption algorithms

-Basic knowledge of container-based development

-Basic security knowledge

-Familiarity with testing/debugging tools

-Must be able to commit 20+ hours per week
