Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sewing Supervisor based in Ungaran. The Sewing Supervisor will oversee sewing operations and ensure production efficiency and quality standards are met. Responsibilities include managing a team of sewing operators, monitoring daily production schedules, troubleshooting technical sewing issues, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and collaborating with other departments to optimize workflows. The role may also involve training and mentoring team members to improve skills and productivity.
Qualifications
- Experience in sewing processes, garment manufacturing, and textile production
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills
- Knowledge of quality control standards and safety protocols
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues in sewing equipment and processes
- Proficiency in managing production schedules and meeting deadlines
- Familiarity with modern sewing techniques and machinery is a plus
- Diploma or higher education in textiles, fashion design, or a related field
- Prior supervisory experience in the textile or garment industry is highly preferred
