We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to be based in Indonesia, responsible for overseeing after-sales service for Data Centre Projects. The role involves installation, commissioning, routine maintenance, and after-sales support of generator sets (gensets), ensuring high service standards and full compliance with local regulations and safety requirements.
The ideal candidate is technically competent, customer-focused, and capable of working independently in a dynamic project environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, testing, and commissioning of gensets and related equipment for data centre projects.
- Conduct routine and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and lifespan of gensets.
- Respond promptly to service requests, diagnose technical issues, and implement effective corrective solutions.
- Provide comprehensive after-sales support, including repairs, parts replacement, and system upgrades as required.
- Collaborate closely with project teams, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and high customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and detailed service records, including site visits, issues identified, corrective actions taken, and parts used.
- Ensure strict adherence to local regulations, safety standards, and company policies at all times.
- Maintain a safe and orderly working environment at customer sites and project locations.
Job Requirements:
- Language proficiency in English and/or Mandarin is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience in gensets, diesel engines, power generators, or related power systems.
- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems; data centre experience is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with local safety standards, site safety procedures, and permit-to-work systems.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive and customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently in field-based assignments and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Willingness to travel occasionally and work flexible hours, including weekends or standby duty when required.
- Technical diploma, vocational training, or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering is preferred.
