Job Description

Our client, a global leader in industrial solutions, is seeking a motivated and dynamic sales professional with a strong technical background in electrical engineering to drive business development and customer engagement in Indonesia.

About the Role

As part of a regional team, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities, developing long-term client relationships, and delivering tailored solutions to end customers. This is a hands-on role that requires both strategic planning and active field sales execution. It is ideal for a results-driven individual who thrives on combining technical expertise with commercial acumen to generate growth in key industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a solid sales pipeline, ensuring achievement of defined business targets.
  • Develop and execute a business development plan, including partner recruitment to strengthen market reach.
  • Analyze project specifications and requirements to propose effective technical solutions.
  • Present and communicate value propositions clearly to customers and key stakeholders.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and competitor activity.
  • Build long-term customer relationships, providing consultancy, responsive support, and post-sales coordination.
  • Support CRM reporting, margin monitoring, and digital sales tools to drive sales excellence.

Requirements that define you

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).
  • Minimum 5 years experience in technical sales, business development, or project sales in an industrial or engineering environment.
  • Strong foundation in motor and drive technologies, with the ability to interpret technical specifications.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex projects and contracts, from proposal to delivery.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Ambitious, resilient, and hands-on, with the ability to balance planning and execution.
