We are currently seeking an accomplished Senior Regulatory Compliance Leader to join our organization and provide strategic oversight of regulatory compliance across the banking and financial services landscape.
Role Summary
This is a senior leadership position responsible for ensuring robust compliance with applicable prudential and regulatory requirements. The role involves close engagement with regulatory authorities, leadership of compliance teams, and advisory support to senior management on regulatory matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and oversight of the organization's regulatory compliance framework
- Ensure full compliance with prudential regulations across Consumer, Retail, Corporate, and Financial Institutions (FI) portfolios
- Oversee governance related to Legal Lending Limit, Credit Risk Management, and Recovery & Resolution Planning
- Serve as a senior liaison with regulatory bodies, including OJK (Banking and Capital Market) and Bank Indonesia
- Lead, mentor, and develop compliance professionals to maintain strong regulatory governance
- Manage regulatory communications, examinations, and submissions in a timely and effective manner
- Provide regulatory advisory support to senior leadership under time-sensitive and high-pressure conditions
Key Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in Regulatory Compliance within the banking or financial services sector
- Strong understanding of credit prudential principles (Consumer, Retail, Corporate & FI), Legal Lending Limit, Credit Risk Management, Recovery & Resolution Plans.
- Comprehensive knowledge of OJK(Banking & Capital Market) and Bank Indonesia regulatory frameworks
- Proven record of people leadership and senior stakeholder management
- Established credibility and effective working relationships with regulators
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Strong judgment, resilience, and ability to operate effectively under regulatory scrutiny and tight deadlines
