Role & Responsibilities
- Understand and contribute to product specifications and overall QA strategy.
- Plan, design, and implement test strategies for the product.
- Develop detailed test plans and test cases based on functional specifications, design documents, and external standards.
- Execute, maintain, and analyze test cases for assigned features, with a strong focus on manual testing.
- Participate in product risk analysis and contribute to mitigation strategies.
- Track defects, maintain test documentation, and ensure issues are clearly and accurately reported.
- Review user manuals and product support documentation for accuracy and consistency.
- Troubleshoot issues independently or collaboratively with engineers, and provide clear written and verbal assessments of test results.
- Contribute to and support continuous improvement of QA approaches and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers, managers, and other stakeholders to resolve software issues when required.
Technical Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field from a recognized university.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance.
- Strong understanding of test design techniques, testing methodologies, QA processes, and risk analysis.
- Ability to create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test documentation.
- Familiarity with QA tools, including test management and defect tracking systems.
- Ability to analyze requirements, design documents, and product specifications.
- Comfortable working closely with engineers to troubleshoot and debug issues.
- HRIS (Human Resource Information System) testing experience is required.
- Understanding of Human Resources processes is a strong advantage.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Fluent in English, with experience working in a multi-national environment considered a plus.
