Job Description

Flip is looking for an Experienced UX/Product Researcher to help us to be the fairest financial service in the world and build stellar experiences for our customers. Youll work with stakeholders across functions to help create impact for millions of Flip users, solving user problems by representing users&apos point of view and behavior to create impactful solutions.

What you&aposll do:

As a Sr. Researcher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and services by conducting research that uncovers user insights and informs product, design and even business decisions.

  • User Research: Conduct thorough user research utilizing diverse methodologies, such as user interviews, surveys, usability testing, ethnographic studies, and desk research. This will unearth profound insights into user behaviors, motivations, pain points, and product opportunities.
  • Persona Development: Create and maintain detailed user personas that represent different segments of our user base, helping to ensure a user-focused mindset across the organization.
  • Usability Testing: Plan and execute usability testing sessions to evaluate the usability and effectiveness of our products and provide actionable insights for improvement.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Skillfully analyze and synthesize research data, distilling meaningful insights and offering strategic recommendations. You will be responsible for presenting these findings persuasively to stakeholders, guiding their decisions and actions.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Effectively convey research findings and insights to cross-functional teams and stakeholders, influencing their decisions and actions.
  • Mentorship: Your experience and expertise will be crucial in guiding and developing the skills of less experienced researchers, fostering their growth and contributing to the overall success of the team.

What you&aposll need:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in UX research or market research, demonstrating a proven track record of influencing product, design, and business strategies through research insights.
  • Proficiency in diverse research methods, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, card sorting, ethnographic studies, and data analysis, with a preference for a strong background in quantitative research.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data analysis and synthesis, including the ability to analyze results using statistical techniques and provide insightful reports.
  • Strong capability to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Fluency in both written and verbal English to effectively communicate research findings and insights.
  • Familiarity with UX research tools and software, enabling efficient and effective research execution.
  • A deep sense of accountability, adaptability, and comfort with ambiguity, along with a collaborative approach to working in a fast-paced environment.
