Job Description

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain high-quality native Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack libraries
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code (including unit tests for edge cases, usability, and reliability)
Identify and fix bugs, optimize performance, and improve application architecture
Review code, unblock teams, and elevate technical depth across the org
Stay up-to-date with the latest Android technologies and development trends

Requirements

Highly skilled and experienced (minimum 5 years) in Android development using Kotlin
Strong command of architectural patterns like MVVM and Clean Architecture
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Deep experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutine Flow, Dependency Injection, Room DB, and other libraries in our tech stack
Strong grasp of Firebase services — Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, and Cloud Messaging
Expertise in modular architecture for testable and scalable Android applications
Advanced knowledge in performance profiling — including rendering, memory usage, and battery optimization
Experience building offline-first mobile applications with resilient sync strategies
Excellent collaboration skills — able to work cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Backend teams
Familiarity with Kotlin, Coroutine Flow, Dependency Injection, Room DB, and other libraries in our tech stack
Background in POS integrations or hospitality tech is a strong plus
