About you
We are looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer with a minimum of five years experience to build an automated video highlight feature for a social app. You will own the entire creative rendering pipeline, combining 3D map visualisations, video composition, and dynamic animations to produce shareable social media content. Your technical skills
- 5+ yearsReact Native development experience
- Strong experience withvideo processing(FFmpeg, react-native-video)
- Hands-on experience withMapBox SDK(@rnmapbox/maps) or similar 3D map libraries
- Proficiency withanimation libraries(Reanimated, Skia, Lottie)
- Understanding of video codecs, rendering pipelines, and export optimization
- Experience with3D graphicsin mobile apps
- Proficiency inTypeScript
Your soft skills
- Strong problem-solving and performance optimization skills
- Interest in cycling, fitness, or sports technology
- Experience with Three.js, OpenGL, or WebGL
- Background in motion graphics or video editing
- Familiarity with Street View or 3D terrain rendering
- Experience building social sharing features
- Has knowledge to Native App (Swift/Kotlin)
What you'll do
- Add seniority to an already strong team
- Build video rendering and composition engine in React Native
- Implement 3D map integrations and camera animations (flyover, POV, tracking)
- Create smooth transitions, overlays, and visual effects
- Develop avatar systems and HUD overlays on map views
- Optimize video export for social platforms (Instagram/TikTok)
- Ensure smooth performance across iOS and Android
- Lead technical decisions for the creative/video pipeline
