A market-leading global professional services organisation is currently recruiting a Manager/Senior Manager, Corporate Finance to join its Deals Advisory practice.
About the Job
This role advises corporate and financial sponsor clients across mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, takeovers, restructurings and other corporate finance engagements. Working closely with senior stakeholders and the Corporate Finance leadership team, the successful candidate will lead transaction processes from origination through execution, providing strategic and commercial advice to support clients investment, growth and value creation objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute M&A, private equity, takeover, restructuring and other corporate finance transactions across a diverse client portfolio.
- Originate new transaction opportunities and develop trusted relationships with corporate clients, investors and financial institutions.
- Manage end-to-end transaction processes, from initial opportunity assessment and pitch development through to negotiation and completion.
- Develop compelling client proposals, pitches and presentations, translating complex financial and strategic considerations into clear recommendations.
- Provide financial analysis, valuation and strategic insights to support investment and transaction decisions.
- Work closely with senior clients and internal advisory specialists to deliver high-quality transaction outcomes.
- Coach and develop junior team members while contributing to the continued growth of the Corporate Finance practice.
The Team
This position sits within an established Deals Advisory practice and works closely with Corporate Finance leadership and multidisciplinary advisory professionals. The successful candidate will collaborate with senior stakeholders and specialists across the business to deliver integrated transaction advice to clients.
Skills and Experience
- Degree-qualified with 8-10 years of relevant transaction experience gained within investment banking, corporate finance advisory or a related professional services environment, with investment banking experience strongly preferred.
- An MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification would be advantageous.
- Strong experience across deal origination, transaction execution, financial analysis, valuation and corporate finance advisory is essential, together with proven project management and leadership capabilities.
- Demonstrate strong commercial judgement, excellent written and verbal communication skills, confidence engaging with senior clients and stakeholders, and the ability to build trusted relationships across corporate and financial institutions.
- A proactive, organised and collaborative approach, with the ability to operate effectively across multicultural teams, is highly valued.
