Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  1. Supervise and lead Legal staff, including providing guidance, training, direction, and enforcing discipline in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  2. Coordinate and build a solid and effective legal team.
  3. Uphold corporate ethics and maintain confidentiality of all legal and company information.
  4. Assist the Department Head in managing the company's legal business framework, including reviewing, drafting, and negotiating agreements, as well as obtaining required corporate licenses and permits.
  5. Provide legal advice and opinions regarding the company's rights and obligations, including actions to protect or enforce such rights.
  6. Support business units through negotiations with third parties and coordination with external legal counsel and/or government authorities.
  7. Monitor and follow up on legal opinions, contracts, correspondence, and legal matters handled by the Legal Division.
  8. Advise management on potential administrative or regulatory compliance gaps and assist in disseminating updates on new laws and regulations relevant to the company.
  9. Represent the company in internal and external meetings, particularly related to business development, cooperation agreements with partner banks, insurance companies, and other third parties.
  10. Receive and handle legal issue reports from branches.
  11. Conduct legal case analysis to determine appropriate strategies, actions, and legal recommendations to prevent escalation of legal risks.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Law
  2. Licensed Advocate (PERADI) active and valid license
  3. Minimum 2 years in a similar or equivalent position
