About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Legal Manager to oversee the company's legal matters and provide practical legal support across various business functions. This role will work closely with management and internal stakeholders to identify legal risks, maintain compliance, and support the company's operational and strategic initiatives, with a strong focus on legal due diligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and practical recommendations to management and internal stakeholders.
- Lead end-to-end legal due diligence for potential investments, partnerships, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
- Review due diligence findings, identify material legal risks, and provide clear recommendations to management.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and other legal documents.
- Oversee corporate legal matters, company documentation, licenses, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor relevant regulatory developments and assess their potential impact on the business.
- Support coordination with external stakeholders or government institutions when required.
- Handle legal disputes and coordinate with external legal counsel when necessary.
- Develop and improve internal legal policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Manage and provide guidance to the internal Legal team.
- Perform other legal responsibilities based on evolving business needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law from a reputable university.
- Minimum 7-10 years of relevant legal experience, including experience in a managerial or leadership capacity.
- Strong and proven hands-on experience in conducting end-to-end legal due diligence.
- Able to identify material legal risks and translate findings into practical, business-oriented recommendations.
- Strong understanding of corporate law, commercial agreements, regulatory compliance, and legal risk management.
- Experience in consumer goods, manufacturing, technology, investment, or another regulated industry is preferred.
- Exposure to corporate transactions, investments, acquisitions, or strategic partnerships is preferred.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- High integrity, strong ownership, and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
- Proficient in written and spoken Bahasa Indonesia and English.
