Job Description

Role Overview:

The Sr. IT Operations & Infrastructure Partner role is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's internal IT infrastructure and employee technology operations.

This role will initially focus on revamping and stabilizing the office network infrastructure, including firewall/WAF configuration, network switches, and enterprise Wi-Fi setup. Once the infrastructure is established, the role will manage day-to-day IT operations including employee IT support, device management, IT asset tracking, vendor coordination, and assisting the security team with endpoint security monitoring.

The candidate will work closely with engineering, security, and internal teams to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient IT operations that support the company's operational goals.

Responsibilities:

Network Infrastructure Setup & Management

  • Lead the revamp and deployment of office network infrastructure including firewall/WAF configuration, switches, and enterprise Wi-Fi access points
  • Configure and maintain secure and stable network connectivity.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • Maintain documentation of network architecture and infrastructure configurations.

IT Operations & Employee Support

  • Provide day-to-day IT support for employees across hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Manage IT requests and support tickets using an internal ticketing system.
  • Ensure timely resolution of IT issues and maintain service reliability.

Device & Endpoint Management

  • Manage company devices using several platforms.
  • Provision and configure employee devices.
  • Enforce device security policies and maintain device lifecycle management.

Identity & Collaboration Tools Administration

  • Manage user accounts and permissions across internal productivity and collaboration platforms.
  • Maintain internal IT documentation and knowledge base.
  • Support internal teams with IT service workflows.

IT Asset Management

  • Track company IT assets using asset management systems.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and asset assignment tracking.

Employee Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Prepare devices and system access for new employees.
  • Recover assets and revoke system access during employee exits.

Vendor Management & Procurement

  • Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers.
  • Track vendor invoices, device rentals, and service renewals.

Security Operations Support

  • Assist security team in monitoring endpoint security alerts.
  • Support remediation actions when security incidents occur.

Requirements:

Must-Have Requirement

  • Hands-on experience configuring and managing enterprise firewall solutions (e.g., Fortigate, Palo Alto, or similar).

General Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience managing corporate IT infrastructure and operations.
  • Experience managing network infrastructure including switches, routers, and enterprise Wi-Fi environments.
  • Experience administering Google Workspace or similar identity and collaboration platforms.
  • Experience with device management platforms such as JumpCloud, Jamf, or ManageEngine.
  • Familiarity with IT asset management systems such as SnipenIT or similar inventory tools.
  • Experience using IT service management and documentation tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience supporting MacOS and Windows environments.
  • Familiarity with endpoint security solutions such as EDR or XDR tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across network, hardware, and software environments.
  • Good English communication skills.
