You bring strong network architecture fundamentals and hands-on experience with firewalls/IPS/IDS/proxy and monitoring tools to keep services secure, resilient, and scalable.
Your Job Responsibilities:
- Lead capacity planning, design, and expansion of data center IT infrastructure to meet availability, performance, and growth targets.

- Own monitoring and alerting, performance management, and KPI reporting; proactively identify risks, trends, and improvements.
- Run ITSM processes (incident/problem/change/request), including impact assessment, test/rollback planning, SLA adherence, and stakeholder updates.
- Maintain security posture through hardening, patching, vulnerability remediation, access control, and configuration compliance.
- Plan and deliver upgrades, patches, and releases with clear testing, rollout, and operational readiness plans.
- Implement and periodically test backup, restore, and disaster recovery for critical services.
- Lead complex troubleshooting and escalations; drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
- Manage vendors and service providers to deliver high-quality support, lifecycle management, and technology adoption.
- Run technical evaluations/POCs and support procurement by defining requirements and reviewing solutions for security, interoperability, and supportability.
- Maintain high-quality documentation (SOP/MOP/EOP, as-builts, configs, test results) and keep the ITSM knowledge base current.
- Support audits and ensure ongoing compliance with internal controls, policies, and applicable standards.
Qualities You Should Have:
- Degree/diploma in IT, Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Minimum 8 years experience in IT infrastructure engineering/operations (data center or mission-critical environments preferred).
- Strong fundamentals across network, compute, storage, virtualization, and monitoring/observability.
- Hands-on Linux and Windows Server administration (build, configure, harden, patch, and troubleshoot); scripting/automation is a plus.
- Experience operating physical and virtual infrastructure, including performance tuning and high availability.
- Network/security expertise: routing & switching, network design, and hands-on firewall/IPS/IDS/proxy and VPN operations.
- Comfortable with ITSM ways of working (incident/problem/change), documentation, and responding calmly under time pressure/on call.
- Familiarity with data center operational systems (e.g., BMS, DCIM, CMMS) and integrating IT monitoring with facility systems is a plus.
- Strong compliance mindset and documentation discipline; exposure to ISO 27001/9001/20000, SOC 1/2, PCI DSS, and audits is a plus.
