Job Description

President University is looking for a strategic and experienced Senior Human Resource Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide highly experienced HR leadership within a higher-education environment, shaping and executing people strategies, policies, and operating models that support academic excellence, research capability, and institutional sustainability.
  • Partner closely with senior academic and executive leadership to advise on workforce planning, organisational design, academic appointments, succession planning, and leadership development across teaching, research, and professional staff cohorts.
  • Lead workforce operations and employee services across a diverse and complex workforce, including academic, research, professional, and casual staff, with oversight of workplace policies, employee facilities coordination, health & safety practices, and continuity planning.
  • Ensure rigorous compliance with employment legislation, industrial relations frameworks, enterprise agreements, accreditation requirements, and occupational health & safety obligations applicable to higher education institutions.
  • Provide disciplined financial stewardship of HR budgets, maintaining cost efficiency and transparency across HR operations, workforce initiatives, and institutional support services.
  • Oversee core HR services and programs, including end-to-end employee lifecycle management, academic recruitment and onboarding, performance and promotion frameworks, staff mobility, travel and accommodation coordination, corporate and academic events, and high-quality service delivery to senior academic leaders and internal stakeholders.
  • Drive cultural stewardship and organisational effectiveness, supporting staff engagement, wellbeing, equity, diversity and inclusion, and change management initiatives within a collegial, values-driven academic context.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
  2. 5 years in a senior Human Resource leadership role preferably with an educational institution background.
  3. Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and spoken.
