About the role:
The role is responsible to lead and oversee the full spectrum of HR operations within our retail business. This position will serve as a strategic and operational partner to business units, ensuring efficient, compliant, and HR processes and systems are implemented and continuously improved across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for business leaders on HR matters, advising on people issues, workforce planning, and operational HR support.
- Drive the implementation of people strategies aligned with business needs, with a strong focus on retail operations and frontline staff.
- Support line managers on performance management, employee relations, and engagement activities.
- Lead and manage day-to-day HR operations, including employee life cycle processes (onboarding, offboarding, transfers, contract management, etc.)
- Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices are up to date, well-communicated, and compliant with local labor laws and retail industry standards.
- Work closely with payroll and IT team to ensure seamless execution of HR operational matters.

- Ensure HR practices comply with employment laws and internal policies.
- Manage audits, government reporting, and support investigations related to employee issues when needed.
- Lead and develop a team of HR professionals to ensure high performance and service delivery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) are an advantage.
- Minimum 8–10 years of HR experience with at least 5 years in a managerial or HRBP role.
- Proven experience in leading HR operations within a multi-location retail or consumer-facing organization.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR compliance, and payroll interface.
- Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high-volume environment.
