About the role
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer for Liven's Voice AI Platform, you will play a key role in scaling Voicey, our AI-powered voice automation product for hospitality. You'll work across the stack (Node.js, Typescript, React) to build the core systems that enable real-time voice ordering, customer interactions, and seamless integrations with venue systems.
This role is hands-on and impact-driven focused on shipping features faster, improving platform reliability, and enabling new client integrations so Voicey can go live quickly and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and Typescript, and develop efficient frontend applications using React
- Focus on platform engineering (not AI model development), designing and maintaining APIs, integrations, and clean architectural patterns
- Work closely with AI engineers to productionize voice features and support real-time interactions
- Manage cloud deployments and infrastructure on AWS or GCP, ensuring platform speed, reliability, and scalability
- Optimise databases across PostgreSQL, Supabase, or MongoDB
- Accelerate feature delivery, platform reliability, and integration readiness to support quick customer go-lives
- Participate in system design, code reviews, and technical decision-making
- Uphold strong engineering best practices in code quality, testing, and maintainability
- Apply full-stack expertise across Node.js, Typescript, React, APIs, and cloud infrastructure
Qualifications
- 6+ years of full stack engineering experience (Node.js + React required)
- Strong understanding of backend architecture, REST APIs, and microservices
- Hands-on experience with AWS/GCP, cloud deployments, and CI/CD workflows
- Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
- Experience in product-led or SaaS engineering environments and ability to turn AI prototype features into production-ready components
- Strong documentation, collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Good to Have
- Exposure to voice technologies, NLP, or telephony APIs
- Experience with real-time user interaction systems
- Background in AI-enabled or automation-heavy products
