Senior Finance Manager, Batam (Cross-Border Tax & Transfer Pricing | Manufacturing)
We are partnering with a well-established industrial group with operations across the region as they are looking for a senior finance leader to head up their finance function in Batam. This role offers the opportunity to oversee end-to-end finance and tax operations for local entities, working closely with the leadership on strategic and operational matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of financial statements in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Oversee management reporting, including variance analysis, financial performance reviews, and strategic insights for decision-making
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports to internal and external stakeholders
- Manage all aspects of Indonesian tax compliance including corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, transfer pricing, related party transactions, and other local levies
- Liaise with tax consultants and government authorities to ensure compliance and resolve tax-related issues
- Monitor changes in tax regulations and assess their impact on the business
- Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting exercises
- Collaborate with department heads to develop realistic and achievable financial plans.
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit processes
- Implement financial policies and procedures in line with corporate governance standards
- Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Promote cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing across departments
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 15+ years of finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity managing large teams
- Strong technical background in reporting, tax, and audit, with hands on experience in IFRS
- Industry experience in asset-heavy or project-based environments will be advantageous
- CA/CPA qualification is preferred but not mandatory
Also open to candidates currently based outside Batam and willing to relocate.
