Purpose
- A key player in PD&S in driving to be the Most Agile, Most Competitive, Most Innovative & Sustainable Supply Base in the industry.
- Support the PD&S strategy by driving initiatives which elevate the technical capabilities and competitiveness of the supply base, allowing it to deliver the desired products and excelling in manufacturing efficiency.
- Translate the strategic objective of competitiveness and engineering solutions into actionable aspirational goals which will deliver innovative and competitive products and influence the manufacturing methods to make them.
- Accelerate and steer a digitally connected industryleading supply base, with integrated mature processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Define a strategy of continuous improvement and manufacturing cost reduction through engineering solution and specific projects and tactics.
- Lead ad-hoc E&MI teams for various strategic projects and initiatives, to improve our agility, competitiveness, innovation, and sustainability across the sourcing base. Through these, deliver measurable & sustainable increases in manufacturing efficiency, capabilities, quality, sustainability and/or speed.
- Drive cross functional collaboration with all internal and external stakeholders in the sourcing country, aimed at addressing product engineering and competitiveness challenges, to ensure best value to product.
- Build and foster partnerships with leading institutions, technology vendors and suppliers, support the deployment of new innovative technologies, processes and systems into our supply base, and continuously improve them.
- Ensure all sourcing operations and practices fully comply with adidas Responsible Sourcing & Purchasing Policy, adidas standards and legal requirements, while managing the relevant processes internally and externally.
- Develop and coach team to ensure the best standards of performance, appropriate skill set, and strong succession plans are in place.
- Manage and operate the departments within the agreed budgets.
- Role model leadership to foster a culture of Diversity Equity & Inclusion that strives for an inclusive workplace.

Requisite Education and Experience
- University degree in Industrial Engineering or related areas
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience and 5+ years of people management experience
