Senior DevOps Consultant

Responsibilities

• Contribute to impactful projects from start to finish

Creative and able to work as individual or part of a team

• Design, propose, implement infra and CI/CD for the team

Install, configure, test and maintain/monitoring systems, application software and system management tools

• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes

• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies

Write and maintain custom scripts for automation and to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks

• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems

Provide 2nd and 3rd level support

• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

Strong technical and analytical mindset with in-depth understanding of how web and mobile application stacks work

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Honest and always adapt to the latest technologies

• Daily reporting to The Head of IT

• Requirements

Education: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

• Language: Communicative English

Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in DevOps web developer or related organization.

• Have knowledge on DevOps tools (GIT, GitLab CI/Jenkins, Ansible, Docker Container, Kubernetes). Solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks (e.g.,Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, Ruby, NGINX)

Have good knowledge and Solid Cloud experience in GCP and AWS

• Automation CI/CD on the environment/systems (release, deployment, test pipeline)

Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Docker, Kubernetes)

• Experience with monitoring systems (e.g., EFK, Grafana)

Solid scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python)

• Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
