Key Responsibilities:

Design and Develop Data Pipelines:

Create and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines using Cloudera Data Platform services, includingApache Spark,Hadoop,andKafka,to ingest, process, and transform large volumes of data.

Ensure Data Quality and Integrity:

Implement data validation, testing, and monitoring processes to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

Optimize Data Workflows:

Identify opportunities for optimizing data pipelines for performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Implement ETL Processes:

Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to move data between different systems

Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues:

Investigate and resolve data-related issues, providing support to analytics and business teams.

Required Skills and Experience:

Cloudera Data Platform:

Strong experience with Cloudera Data Platform and its core services like Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka.

Data Engineering Fundamentals:

Solid understanding of data modeling, database design, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.

Programming Languages:

Proficiency in programming languages like Python or Java for data processing and scripting.

Cloud Technologies:

Experience with cloud platforms likeAWS,Azure,orGCPis a plus.
