About the Role
Providing quality products according to market needs to optimize the company's sales contribution through recommended products.
Responsibilities
- Searching for and recommending products (including with vendors) that are in accordance with the categories that are his responsibility to ensure that all products provided by the company are in accordance with market needs.
- Negotiating with vendors regarding prices and service level agreements from the product procurement and marketing process to minimize the cost of procuring the product.
- Recommend product selling prices in accordance with procurement costs, market conditions and profit targets that have been determined by the company to ensure that all company products have competitive prices.
- Controlling the inventory of products that are his responsibility to optimize the company's capital turnover.
- Evaluating the sales success and performance of vendors of products that are his responsibility so that they can be used as considerations in determining product sustainability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business/Marketing.
- Have experience min. 5 years as Buyer/ Merchandiser, preferably in Retail Business.
- Experience in working to critical deadlines.
- Experience in planning, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Willing to travel.
- Skill and Knowledge : Negotiation & Communication, Product Selection & Procurement, Budget & Cost Management
- Fluent in English (able to speak Mandarin is an advantage).
