Our holding company, ID&E Holdings Co., Ltd. (ID&E), was officially established on 3 July 2023. The Consulting Business, Urban & Spatial Development Business, and Energy Business, which were previously the business divisions of Nippon Koei Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as NK) which is Japan's No.1 International Engineering Consultants in terms of size and turnover for consulting services, became independent as separate corporate organizations. Among these, Nippon Koei Energy Solutions Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as NKES) commenced its operations on 1 October 2023, drawing on the foundations of NK's DNA, the energy management, manufacturing, construction & installation, and electro-mechanical consulting fields have been retained; and we continue to provide one-stop services pertaining to energy.

Work Environment

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Specialist to support the growth of our energy business in Indonesia. The role focuses on identifying new opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and supporting proposal development for renewable energy, power generation, transmission & distribution, and energy advisory projects. You will work in an international environment and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality project delivery.

Missions

• You will be reporting to Country Manager.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the energy sector, including renewables, thermal power, grid infrastructure, and energy transition services.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support strategic planning.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including government agencies, utilities, IPPs, EPCs, and financial institutions.
• Support the preparation of proposals, bids, and presentations in coordination with technical and commercial teams.
• Monitor tender platforms and industry news to track upcoming projects and opportunities.
• Represent Nippon Koei Energy at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
• Collaborate with regional and global teams to leverage Nippon Koei Energy's international expertise and references.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (Master's degree is a plus).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or Engineering Consultant Good business acumen and understanding of the engineering consulting business.
• Strong understanding of the Indonesian energy market, regulatory landscape, and key players.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently and in teams.
• Good knowledge of the latest energy news and trends.
• Strong sense of priority, analytical skills and meticulous.
• Good planner and organizer in various circumstances.
• Great team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
