Purpose of the Role:
As a Senior Business Analyst, you're play a pivotal role in providing an expertise consulting to our banking clients, and bridging the gap between the business and technology requirements, ensuring projects deliver value by gathering requirements, documenting business processes and facilitating communication to align with the business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding business needs, providing strategic guidance, and leading consulting engagements to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.
- Work closely with clients to gather and analyze requirements, translating business needs into clear application and functional requirements to support product development or customization.
- Drive the design and delivery of innovative core banking solutions aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business users, developers, and support teams, to ensure successful and timely solution implementation.
- Analyze information from multiple sources and work with subject matter experts and technical teams to evaluate trade-offs between system reusability and technical constraints.
- Prepare comprehensive functional documentation, including Functional Specification Documents (FSD), user guides, training materials, and other required deliverables.
- Act as the key interface between business units, technology teams, and support functions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate functional specification sign-off and conduct user training to ensure solution readiness and adoption.
Skills & Specifications:
- Minimum 510 years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst or System Analyst in banking environments, with strong exposure to Lending and/or Funding domains for core banking products.
- Experience either as a vendor/consultant implementing core banking solutions for financial institutions, or as an in-house BA/System Analyst within a bank or financial institution handling core systems, enhancements, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Proven capability in managing end-to-end BA activities, including requirement gathering, gap analysis, functional specification (FSD), testing support (UAT), and user training.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, structured system specifications.
- Strong analytical mindset, capable of identifying gaps, dependencies, and risks, and proposing practical solutions or alternatives.
- Comfortable working with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams, including business users, technical teams, project managers, and senior stakeholders.
- Willing to travel for project-based domestic assignments outside Jakarta.
- Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to manage multiple deliverables and client engagements concurrently.
