We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Senior Associate, Tax Services. Reporting to the Manager, Tax Services, this full-time and permanent position is based in Indonesia and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Service and Delivery team and its growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and perform complex tax calculations for clients of the Company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Review and oversee the preparation of monthly closing for tax reports, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Manage and perform tax calculations, payments, and reporting, as well as preparing and reviewing tax returns for all taxes, both monthly and annually.
- Review and perform reconciliation between monthly tax returns and general ledger, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Ensure full adherence to Company policies, procedures, and practices, and provide guidance to team members on their application.
- Oversee efficient and effective internal and external compliance for VAT, withholding tax, and corporate tax.
- Manage and supervise internal tax and payroll administrative activities, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to junior associates, fostering knowledge sharing and skills development.
- Undertake ad-hoc functions and related duties as assigned, particularly those requiring advanced tax knowledge or problem-solving.
- Ensure financial data integrity, including books and records in full conformity with legal and tax requirements
Key requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Tax/Accountancy/Finance;
- Brevet A & B is a plus;
- Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in the tax fields;
- Strong technical knowledge of tax processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to handle complex tax matters with minimal supervision.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management, able to prioritize multiple assignments under tight deadlines.
- Reliable, accurate, and able to maintain high standards of work quality.
- Strong reconciliation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across departments and with clients
