About the Role
As a Senior Accountant based in Jakarta, Indonesia, you are a detail-oriented and independent team-player who manages the full scope of financial and accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full scope of financial and accounting responsibilities including but not limited to month end closing, monthly reconciliation of the accounts, preparing monthly and annual financial statements, and cash management.
- Analyse financial performance of the Company and provide commentary/recommendations.
- Provide support and review tax reports to be submitted to Direktorat Jenderal Pajak. Ensure compliance with tax statutory requirements.
- Manage budgeting and monthly cashflow forecasts.
- Prepare audit schedules and work closely with external auditors for completion of statutory audit.
- Process Withholding tax, Value-Added tax (VAT), and income tax
- Contribute to and support automation and enhancement of business processes.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Accountancy/Finance or ACCA or equivalent. Certifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) are a bonus.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent command in English (written and spoken) is a must-have, to liaise with internal stakeholders based across the region.
- Strong knowledge of accounting, internal controls, tax and treasury, as well as various types of corporate taxation and rules
- Independent team player who thrives on cross-functional and regional collaboration.
