Role Description The Secondary Mathematics Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan. The teacher will plan, deliver, and assess engaging mathematics lessons aligned with the school's curriculum and learning objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and learning materials, teaching classes, assigning and grading homework and assessments, and providing constructive feedback to learners. The role involves monitoring student progress, offering additional support when needed, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to classroom management and a safe learning environment. The teacher will also participate in staff meetings, parent or guardian communication, school events, and ongoing professional development activities.
Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Mathematics and Mathematics Education, with the ability to teach core and advanced topics at the secondary level.
Demonstrated Lesson Planning skills, including designing structured, differentiated, and engaging learning activities.
Status as a Qualified Teacher, with relevant teaching certification or licensure appropriate for secondary education.
Effective Communication skills for interacting with students, colleagues, and parents or guardians.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related field.
Experience teaching secondary-level mathematics in a classroom setting is highly beneficial.
Ability to use educational technology and digital tools to support instruction and assessment.
