Job Responsibilities

1. Regional Sales Strategy & Execution

Define and execute annual and mid-to-long-term sales strategies, revenue targets, and market expansion plans for the Southeast Asia (SEA) region.

Break down regional objectives into country-level and territory-level KPIs and ensure consistent achievement of sales targets.

2. Market & Business Development

Lead deep market development across key SEA countries, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Philippines, etc.

Possess or develop strong access to government resources and key customer segments, including: High-end telecom base stations, Data centers, Island/off-grid power generation, Emergency power supply systems, Fire protection and backup power systems.

Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, core distributors, and strategic partners (channel-focused).

Design, implement, and manage channel policies, including:Authorization systems,Pricing structures,Rebate and incentive mechanisms,Annual channel agreements.

Enable channel partners through product training, technical support, marketing activities, and joint promotions.

Maintain channel discipline and resolve cross-territory conflicts, pricing violations, and authorization breaches.

Drive large-scale projects, key accounts, and framework agreements (Key Accounts / OEM / Project-based sales).

Lead commercial negotiations and framework agreement signings for Utility-scale, C&I, and strategic customers.

Be deeply involved throughout the full project lifecycle:

Lead Solution Tender Contract Delivery Payment Collection.

Coordinate closely with technical, solution, legal, supply chain, and internal stakeholders to close complex projects.

3. Sales Team Leadership & Development

Build, lead, and manage the APAC/SEA sales organization, including direct sales, channel sales, and key account teams.

Recruit, develop, motivate, and retain regional and country sales managers.

Establish standardized sales processes, management systems, performance evaluation, and incentive frameworks.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Provide regular updates to headquarters on market progress, risks, and competitive dynamics.

Work closely with marketing, product, technical support, supply chain, and after-sales teams.

Feed regional market requirements back to HQ and participate in product roadmap planning and localization strategies.

5. Market Intelligence & Risk Management

Continuously monitor regional policies, competitive landscape, industry trends, and customer demand in Southeast Asia.

Manage regional targets, contracts, cash collection, credit exposure, and operational risks in alignment with HQ objectives.

Establish regional compliance, risk control, and government relationship frameworks.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above in International Trade, Marketing, Engineering, Energy, Power, or related fields preferred.

Minimum 10 years of B2B international sales experience, with at least 5 years in Southeast Asia regional management.

Experience in solar PV, energy storage, inverters, power equipment, renewable energy, or industrial equipment is highly preferred.

Proven track record of leading multi-country sales teams and delivering sustained growth.

Strong experience with Distributor / EPC business models, including building channel systems from scratch (0 to 1).

Solid methodologies in pricing management, authorization frameworks, and channel incentive programs.

Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities. Excellent commercial negotiation and key account management skills.

Ability to operate effectively in multi-cultural and multi-country environments. Results-driven, resilient under pressure, and adaptable to frequent travel.

Fluent in English (business communication and negotiation).Mandarin Chinese is a strong plus, Bahasa Indonesia or other SEA languages are an advantage.
