You will be responsible for ensuring that our finance accounting policies are always followed, driving profitability, cost awareness + efficiency across the sea logistics organization
How you create impact
- To ensure compliance with financial + revenue care guidelines.
- To conduct regular conversations with all direct reports to discuss + ensure traction on delivering performance + development goals.
- To routinely perform audits on closed files, documenting + escalating any issues as required.
- To systematically review + reduce the minimum provision for bad debts + write-offs.
- To analyze country profit + loss sheets, customer profitability, identifying gaps vs. financial targets, focusing on the bottom ten accounts (basis cumulative gross profit) in collaboration with relevant financial controllers.
- To identify root causes of issues + propose corrective actions establishing + driving gross profit improvement plans.
- To conduct daily + weekly stand-up meetings with your team to identify + resolve business issues.
- To ensure the accuracy + consistency for all operational finance data over its life cycle.
What we would like you to bring
- Education:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 57 years of experience in Sea Logistics operations, revenue care, finance governance, or freight forwarding.
- At least 2 years of supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Strong exposure to billing accuracy, GP variance analysis, or operational finance.
- Understanding of Sea Logistics processes.
- Proficient in relevant KN systems.
- Strong analytical skills with solid knowledge of P&L and cost structures.
- Ability to identify financial risks and margin leakage trends.
