Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP SD Consultant to support our client, in their manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining business solutions within the SAP Sales and Distribution module, ensuring seamless integration across the ECC and S/4HANA landscapes. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in BAPI/BADI and functional knowledge of Transportation Management (TM).
Key Responsibilities
- Implementation & Maintenance: Lead the implementation of new business solutions and maintain existing SAP SD modules, specifically utilizing a greenfield approach where applicable.
- Solution Design: Propose, configure, document, and test SAP business solutions based on complex functional and technical requirements.
- Functional Expertise: Provide high-level guidance and instruction to the client regarding SAP processes and industry best practices in manufacturing.
- Technical Integration: Work closely with the development team on technical enhancements, specifically involving BAPI and BADI's, and manage cross-functional integrations with Web and Mobile Apps.
- Transportation Management (TM): Perform basic configuration for the TM module, managing the integration between Delivery Orders, Freight Units, and Freight Orders, and configuring Freight Settlement Documents.
- Stakeholder Management: Maintain proactive and clear communication with clients and cross-module teams to build strong, long-term professional relationships.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills:
- Experience: Minimum 35 years of experience in SAP SD with at least 2 full-cycle implementations.
- SAP Systems: Proficient in functional support and configuration for both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
- Specialized Knowledge: Familiarity with BAPI/BADI and integration with non-SAP platforms (Web/Mobile).
- TM Integration: Functional knowledge of Transportation Management workflows (Freight Units, Freight Orders, and Settlement).
- Approach: Experience with Greenfield implementation strategies.
Soft Skills:
- Language: Advanced proficiency in English (written and verbal).
- Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude and creative approach to technical challenges.
- Communication: Ability to bridge the gap between technical development teams and business stakeholders.
