Role: Indonesian SAP Project Manager
Location: Remote with travel to Serpong (Jakarta), Indonesia office
Start Date: January 5th, 2026
End Date: June 30th, 2026 (extension possible)
Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP project manager to assist our customer with the rollout of SAP S/4 HANA to Indonesia, one of the first roll-outs in a global roll-out of SAP S/4 HANA.
Responsibilities
- Own the full project lifecycle for the Indonesia SAP implementation, including initiation, planning, execution, cutover, go-live, and hypercare
- Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, ensuring alignment with global PMO standards, tools, and methodologies
- Lead project management routines including RAID management, status reporting, and stakeholder communications to global and local leadership
- Coordinate and oversee matrixed resources across business process, data, change, testing, and technical teams
- Monitor project performance, proactively manage risks/issues, and drive resolution to keep the program on track
- Act as the primary point of contact for leadership, ensuring transparency of progress, escalations, and decision-making
- Ensure strong integration between global program requirements and local business need
Qualifications
- 10+ years of project management experience, with a proven track record delivering multiple full-cycle SAP implementations
- Prior experience rolling out SAP to Indonesia
- Strong understanding of SAP deployment lifecycles, covering planning, build, testing, cutover, and hypercare
- Experience leading matrixed teams across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage complex stakeholder environments
- Familiarity with global PMO tools and standards (e.g., ADO, Smartsheet, SharePoint, RAID management)
- Location: Preferably based in Indonesia; candidates in India with willingness to travel will also be considered
