Job Description
To provide a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young learners aged 1.5 to 5 years. Guided by the relevant curriculum, Homeroom Teacher will lead the implementation of developmentally appropriate practices to support children's holistic growth and development. Homeroom Teacher will be teaching the subjects; ELAR, Numeracy, Science, Art, Music and ICT (for K2 only) that are aligned with relevant curriculums implemented in the ELC departments.
- Develop and implement engaging and differentiated lesson plans based on the IEYC framework to promote children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Establish and maintain a safe, orderly, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning. Manage classroom resources, materials, and equipment effectively to support teaching and learning activities.
- Conduct ongoing observations and assessments to monitor children's progress and development.
- Establish open and collaborative partnerships with parents/guardians through regular communication, including parent-teacher conferences, newsletters, and informal updates.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education/General Education/Psychology
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accordance with the qualifications of the position to be applied
- Having experience in teaching for Early Years grade in private or international school would be preferable.
- Familiar with IEYC Curriculum/ Singaporean Mathematics/ Montessori
- Proven ability to develop successful academic program.
