Job Description

We are looking for a highly driven Sales Trainer (Field Sales Performance Builder) who can transform a rapidly growing field sales organization into a high-performance acquisition engine.

This role goes far beyond classroom training. You will be responsible for accelerating new hire productivity, codifying best practices from top performers, coaching Team Leaders, improving sales execution, and building scalable systems that drive merchant acquisition growth.

What you'll do

Sales Capability Development

  • Design and execute onboarding programs for Sales Executives, Team Leaders, and Area Managers.
  • Develop and continuously improve sales playbooks covering:
  • Merchant targeting
  • Territory planning
  • Sales scripts
  • Objection handling
  • Follow-up strategies
  • Best-practice replication
  • Create training content based on real field insights and performance gaps.

Field Coaching & Productivity Improvement

  • Conduct regular field coaching, ride-alongs, and on-the-job training.
  • Identify root causes behind productivity and conversion challenges.
  • Analyze top performer behaviors and translate them into scalable training programs.
  • Improve sales productivity, conversion rates, and merchant acquisition outcomes.

Team Leader Development

  • Coach Team Leaders on:
  • Daily briefing management
  • One-on-one coaching
  • Performance reviews
  • Pipeline diagnosis
  • Territory management
  • Build scalable leadership development programs for frontline managers.

Performance Management

  • Develop performance scorecards, productivity dashboards, and coaching frameworks.
  • Monitor onboarding effectiveness and time-to-productivity metrics.
  • Analyze rejection patterns, funnel performance, and field execution quality.

Organizational Scaling

  • Capture and document tacit knowledge from top performers.
  • Build repeatable onboarding and coaching systems to support rapid hiring and expansion.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Strategy, Operations, and People teams to improve organizational effectiveness.

What you'll need

  • 3–7 years of experience in Sales Training, Sales Enablement, Field Coaching, or Commercial Excellence
  • Experience in field-intensive industries such as: Fintech (Payments / QRIS / EDC), FMCG General Trade, Telco Acquisition, Insurance Agency Sales, Direct Selling
  • Strong understanding of: Territory Management, Merchant Acquisition, Sales Productivity Drivers, Conversion Funnel Optimization, Coaching Methodologies, Proven experience improving frontline sales performance
  • Experience building training systems in high-growth environments
  • Experience managing large-scale onboarding programs
  • Familiarity with data-driven performance management
