Job Description
SATO is seeking a committed sales person to execute and expand the business in selected. Indonesia is a critical market for SATO, where a huge number of the population still lack access to basic sanitation and hygiene (WHO, JMP report). Created in 2012 with the aim to tackle the global sanitation challenge, SATO, a brand of LIXIL, is an award-winning social business that offers an affordable and aspirational line of sanitation and hygiene solutions for communities without access to sewers or basic sanitation. Through our sales organizations, local trades, and partnerships with community groups and global organizations, we offer a safer and more pleasant toilet and hygiene experience. Our aim is to improve the lives of 100 million people by 2025. We have impacted more than 68 million lives since inception and have produced and shipped over 8.6 million units across 45 countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
The Sales Supervisor for Indonesia will develop existing business, create new business opportunities in line with SATO's global objectives, optimize business efficiency to ensure profitability, and collaborate effectively with partner teams to support these objectives. The Sales Person will support the objectives set by the Country Leader as best as possible, achieve sales number targets including developing ideas for business objectives, being able to conduct training and educate to targets. Through regular communication with the Country Leader, SATO to align regional and global strategies, the Sales person will submit weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly performance and progress reports to the company's headquarters.
Responsibilities

- Achieving target of sales number
- In collaboration with the Leader, evaluate and achieve the country's sales targets.
- Execute program implementation (sales and marketing program) in the region
- Improve customer and partner satisfaction by empowering limited resources of organizations to meet consumer needs and achieve high business performance.
- Identify areas for improvement and potential barriers to entry, and develop plans to address them.
- Coordinate activities with contractors, employees, various LIXIL subsidiaries, headquarters, Government, and other relevant stakeholders to solve and execute operations.
- Regularly monitor and review sales performance against targets, providing feedback and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Develop and mentor partners to enhance their skills and performance, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Pro Active and Collaborative Effectively to Execute Strategy
- Collaborate with partners, including manufacturing and distribution partners, as well as reseller partners in selected locations, to develop and implement effective regional marketing strategies to achieve sales and profit targets.
- Provide input into advertising and promotional plans, product positioning in local markets
- Foster supportive relationships with key customers, such as supporting local distributors and retail outlets with product training
- Together with country leader, identify key stakeholders and partners who can support SATO products, facilitate the path to market, and/or increase visibility and overall demand for SATO products.
- Optimize existing bricklayer and/or plumber training and outreach programs as part of the overall business plan.
- Provide input and feedback on consumer and market conditions to SATO leaders, improve product portfolio, and drive profitability.
Requirements
- Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to work independently, with high problem-solving skills.
- Strong in sales negotiation skills, sales persuasive and highly self-confident
- Strong Sales Program Implementation skills
- Five or more years of proven sales experience in consumer durable goods, hardware, or housewares.
- Robust interpersonal and networking skills. Ability to forge effective working relationships and to foster solution-oriented approach with internal and external partners.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Facility to work comfortably and effectively across many different cultures and situations. Comfort in a less structured / entrepreneurial environment.
- English language fluency required, preferably
- Ability to work confidently in MS Office suite of tools (e.g., Outlook, MSWord, MSPowerpoint, and MS Excel).
- If and when it is safe to do so, the ability to travel domestically within Indonesia is up to 80%. Occasional international travel (1-2 times per year) may be requested.
