The Sales Operations Coordinator (Intern) is responsible for all aspects of inventory management and sales support functions within the country. This role will work closely with Country Manager, Sales, 3PL and Singapore Sales Operations. This person will also act as a main contact between Singapore Sales Operations and Country inventory matters. This person must be experienced in inventory management processes. He/She is required to provide business reports and support the team in prioritising based on commercial needs. The person must be well versed in excel data and report. Knowledge in SAP will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities
Planning & Forecast
- To support Country Manager in Inventory Planning and Forecasting
- To support Country Manager and Sales in Account PAR Level setting or adjustment
- To support Country Manager and Sales in executing new launches, new accounts and close monitoring of execution
Inventory Management
- To support Sales Ops Manager to lead the PAR level in respective consignment sites
- To manage 3PL in ensuring the following
- Timely returns of near expiry stocks to 3PL and stock rotation in country
- Timely returns of expired products to Singapore
- Inventory posting/accuracy versus BIT SAP system and ensure high accuracy at all times
- Conduct monthly stock count and >90% count completion of country consignment sites including warehouse within a year
- To follow up with 3PL and Singapore Sales Operations on timely closure of any inventory matters (discrepancy, INV posting and etc)
- To conduct on site stock count and inventory inspection
- To perform stock reconciliation and provide proposal for actions as well as follow-up to closure
Others
- To support Country Manager and Sales in inventory reporting
- To support 3PL in inventory transactions and SAP
- To follow up with Sales on Aging Inventory or Aging INV (timely rotation and billing)
- To follow up on all assigned tasks from Singapore on inventory matters if any
- To support in the preparation and filing of quotation
- To archive sales report generated by the 3PL with a summary
Requirements
- Able to commit 5 months of internship with immediate availability
- At least A level or diploma in any discipline (added advantage if discipline in logistics related)
- Bilingual in Bahasa Melayu and English
- Relevant internship experience in logistics environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Words & PowerPoint. Ability to use SAP will be a plus.
- Ability to summarise excel data into an overview and drill in for more detailed analysis
- Ability to draw simple business process flow
- Strong ability to multi-task, work under pressure & deliver quality results with speed and minimum supervision
