Job Description

We are supporting an international IT services company that is expanding its presence in Indonesia. This role is a front-line market-entry position, focused on opening doors, building credibility, and winning new business in the BFSI sector.

This is not an account-maintenance role. We are looking for a hunter someone who thrives on prospecting, navigating complex organizations, and initiating high-value conversations with senior decision-makers. You will play a critical role in establishing the company's footprint in Indonesia and shaping its early commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business acquisition in the Indonesian market, with a strong focus on BFSI clients (banking, financial services, insurance).
  • Lead market entry and expansion efforts, including identifying target accounts, decision-makers, and entry strategies.
  • Open and develop relationships with C-level and senior stakeholders (CIO, CTO, CDO, COO, Heads of IT/Digital).
  • Position IT services and solutions clearly, articulating business value rather than just technical features.
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to proposal, negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Work closely with delivery, solution, and leadership teams to shape compelling offerings for the local market.
  • Represent the company in executive meetings, industry events, and strategic discussions.
  • Provide market feedback to leadership on local dynamics, client needs, and competitive landscape.

KPIs / Success Metrics

  • Number of new enterprise BFSI accounts opened
  • Quality and seniority of stakeholder access (C-level / decision-makers)
  • Sales pipeline value and conversion rate
  • Closed-won deals within the first 612 months
  • Strength and sustainability of early market presence

Must-Have Skills & Experience

  • Senior sales professional with strong confidence engaging C-level executives.
  • Proven hunter profile with a track record of opening new accounts and closing complex deals.
  • Experience in market expansion or greenfield sales is strongly preferred.
  • Solid background in IT services / technology solutions.
  • BFSI domain experience is mandatory (banking, insurance, financial institutions).
  • Experience working with foreign or international companies is a strong advantage.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise buying processes and long sales cycles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive-level presentation skills.
  • Comfortable operating independently and building structure where none exists.
