Now we are looking for a dynamic, outgoing, and results-driven Sales Manager MICE with a strong background and experience in Sales to join our energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate team at Grand Hyatt Bali.

As a Sales Manager MICE, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and developing the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events) market segment to maximize revenue opportunities for the hotel.
  • Proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities within corporate, conference, and group segments.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with existing clients while actively developing new accounts.
  • Conducting regular sales calls, presentations, site inspections, and client meetings.
  • Preparing proposals, contracts, and negotiating event agreements in accordance with hotel policies.
  • Collaborating closely with Events, Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Revenue teams to ensure successful event execution and maximize revenue.
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
  • Preparing sales forecasts, reports, and maintaining accurate client records.
  • Representing the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and client entertainment activities when required.
  • Ensuring the delivery of brand promise and maintaining exceptional customer service standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 23 years work experience as Sales Manager or Assistant Sales Manager in a luxury hotel environment, preferably with an international brand.
  • Strong understanding of the MICE market segment including corporate meetings, conferences, and incentive groups.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and generating group and event revenue.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with internal teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Eloquent in English communication in both written and spoken. Bahasa Indonesia proficiency is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel sales systems.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with strong customer service focus.
