Job Description Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and distribution within the Food and Beverage industry. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent commercial skills and a proven track record of driving sales growth and managing distribution channels effectively.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Representing Marmon Foodservice Technologies, within the specified territory, develop and cultivate relationships with new and existing key account chains, distributors, and dealers of foodservice / restaurant related products in Indonesia.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve Indonesia sales targets and objectives.
- Manage and expand distribution channels to ensure efficient delivery of products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
- Continuously seeks new prospects through cold calling techniques and works to develop each prospect into new customers by identifying opportunities.
- Gains in-depth knowledge of potential customer plants and operations to provide knowledgeable solutions, products, and services.
- Evaluates and qualifies new project opportunities at customer sites.
- Works closely with internal departments in sales activities through bidding, negotiation, and sales closing process for new projects.
- Provides customer follow-up to close quoted projects and to assess the customer's satisfaction of recently completed projects.
- Ensures all safety policies are always followed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Competencies (Education and Experience):
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the Food and Beverage distribution industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing distribution channels.
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia language with business level of English speaking & writing who have sales & service experience in Indonesia market.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, mechanical, electrical , or associated engineering disciplines OR related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Ability to interact with customers at all levels of an organization.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong customer service attitude.
- Highly motivated and driven to prospect and develop new accounts and opportunities.
- Ability to relate to customers and speak in standard industry terminology.
- Strong self-management skills with ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Highly organized and disciplined in maintaining CRM or CHL developed customer spreadsheets.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to customer questions and/or inquiries.
- Able to contribute individually and as part of a team.

- Participate in quality assurance and business improvement activities, including training and improvement projects as defined by the organization.
Working Conditions: Work is performed largely in office environments with overnight travel that may be at customer premises, service provider locations, and/or between Marmon Foodservice Technologies locations. Hours of work will generally be during regular business hours with at least 40 hours a week but may vary according to special projects, deadlines, or other concerns. A variety of postures (bending, stooping, etc.) when handling product while training or investigating technical issues. Travel of up to 40-50% (domestic and international) may be required.
