About the Role

Service Sales Engineer is dedicated to serve customers and act as their representative to check on work that has been delivered to ensure quality and on time completion. Service Sales Engineer must ensure that customers issues are being addressed and handled promptly by respective stakeholders to resolve issues. They understand customers needs and work out solution offerings to meet those needs.

The role is responsible for developing long-term customer relationships to achieve customer satisfaction, developing profitable business with new and existing customers by developing key account plans and strategies. The role requires technical knowledge, customer focus, and ability to work closely with other departments and functions to deliver value to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and contact prospective customers who may be of strategic importance to the organization.
  • Responds to more complex customer enquiries by organizing visits to current and prospective customer sites and introducing products in order to expand sales.
  • Delivers high quality customer service by applying detailed service and product knowledge.
  • Negotiates prices and delivery times within established limits of authority in order to close the sales process.
  • Develops long-term sales plans for key customers and monitors or adapt sales activities so objectives are met.
  • Works independently promoting and selling products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range, or list of customer accounts to achieve significant sales targets.
  • Utilizes solid understanding of the customer's business to then assess the customer's needs and suggest appropriate products and services.
  • Encourage customer growth and loyalty to the company through continuous support and customer assistance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in HVAC/Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering
  • Good understanding of the HVAC industry as well as experience working on a similar role and used to liaising directly with the clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in direct sales experience of selling HVAC unit / solutions package / building automation system
  • Having good sales, negotiation, and customer relation skills
  • Strong work commitment and can work under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal skills, good verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer focus and innovative mindset
