Imajin is an online manufacturing marketplace in Indonesia, specializing in mold & dies fabrication, precision parts production, and CNC machine solutions. We are looking for a Sales Engineer with a strong engineering background who is comfortable engaging in client-facing and commercial activities.
Responsibilities:- Engage with potential clients to understand technical requirements, manufacturing constraints, and application needs.
- Analyze 2D/3D technical drawings to assess manufacturability and provide accurate cost estimations (especially for dies and precision parts).
- Propose engineering-driven solutions aligned with client specifications, cost targets, and production feasibility.
- Act as a bridge between clients and internal engineering/production teams to ensure technical alignment.
- Provide technical consultation throughout the sales cycle, including feasibility discussion and solution optimization.
- Collaborate closely with production, design, and machining teams to ensure project execution meets technical expectations.
- Continuously stay updated on manufacturing processes, materials, and machining technologies.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering (mandatory).
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing environment (machining, tooling, dies, or production engineering) is strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (2D & 3D) and understand tolerances, materials, and processes.
- Strong understanding of dies (stamping/casting) and machining processes.
- Experience in cost estimation or process planning is a big advantage.
- Comfortable in client-facing situations and able to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and solution-driven mindset.
