Role Description The Restaurant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lombok, responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure a seamless guest experience. This role manages front-of-house and food and beverage service, supervises staff scheduling, and coordinates with the kitchen to maintain high-quality standards and timely service. The Restaurant Manager handles guest interactions, addresses service issues, monitors customer feedback, and works to optimize satisfaction and repeat visits.
Daily tasks include managing inventory, supporting hiring and training of team members, monitoring health and safety compliance, and implementing procedures to maintain cleanliness and efficiency. The role also involves communication with leadership on performance, contributing to menu or service improvements, and fostering a positive, collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-focused mindset with skills in Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service.
- Effective Communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with guests and team members.
- Experience with Hiring, onboarding, and training restaurant staff.
- Knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, including service standards and basic inventory practices.
- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality management, ideally in resort or island settings.
- Ability to work on-site in Lombok, including flexible hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Proven leadership, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Familiarity with basic budgeting, cost control, and sales reporting is beneficial.
- Proficiency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
