Job Description

Job Summary

Acts under direct supervision, performing actuarial duties in order to provide highly accurate data and analyses for use by more senior actuaries in relation to reserving, reporting, quantitative risk management or the pricing of business.

Job Qualifications

Required:

Min. S1 from relevant major or related with Actuary (Matematika/Statistics/Actuary).
Have passed min. 5 PAI Tests
Min. 3 - 4 years experiences in relevant role within Insurance industry (General Insurance will be plus point)
Intermediate to Advanced skill in Excel and programming using Python, R, SQL
Able to communicate in English both verbal and written

Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities

. Provide basic actuarial services under direct supervision to fulfill routine business requirements and to solve problems with a limited level of complexity / diversity.
. Perform statistical analyses, model and analyze data and develop models/programs for model building and analyses interpret results of models and analyses.
. Compile and categorize data and document and verify factors and assumptions used in computations to ensure robust output.
. Assist in the development of risk based capital models as well as parameterization and allocation activities to support actuarial services.
. Participate in the evaluation and review of new/proposed processes and systems.
. Demonstrate increasing knowledge of actuarial disciplines and procedures to build value adding, relevant technical knowledge.
. Work with actuarial colleagues to develop understanding of company operations, business objectives and actuarial methodologies.
. Demonstrate progress towards local actuarial qualification.
