AYANA Midplaza, Jakarta, is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Reservations Agent to join our esteemed team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of guest reservations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the reservation process. This role involves handling inquiries via multiple channels, updating booking details in the property management system, and providing exemplary guest service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage reservations through various communication channels, including phone calls, emails, and online travel agency extranets.
- Input and maintain reservation details in the property management system (PMS), ensuring accuracy in room availability, rates, and guest preferences.
- Facilitate payment processes, assist with documentation, and generate reports related to bookings, cancellations, and no-shows.
- Coordinate guest transportation and transfer services, ensuring all logistics are confirmed and communicated to relevant parties.
- Engage with guests to promote hotel services and amenities, providing knowledgeable recommendations to enhance their stay
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a reservations or front office role within the hospitality industry is an advantage.
- Proficient in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Skilled in using computer systems and hotel management software (experience with Opera is desirable).
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a customer-oriented approach
