- Market and Industry Research
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data on local and regional markets, industries, and economic trends.
- Conduct primary and secondary research to gather relevant information for reports and presentations.
- Data Analysis and Management
- Use various tools to process large datasets, identify patterns, and generate insights.
- Maintain and update databases, financial models, and research databases for accuracy and relevance.
- Financial Modeling and Valuation
- Assist in building and updating financial models to project company performance and valuation.
- Support senior analysts in conducting company and sector valuations using various methodologies.
- Report Preparation and Presentation
- Draft and assist in preparing research reports, industry briefs, and company snapshots.
- Create visual aids such as charts and tables to enhance report clarity and impact.
- Monitoring and Tracking News
- Stay updated with the latest news, earnings releases, and market developments relevant to Indonesia and ASEAN markets.
- Summarize key updates and notify the team of significant events.
- Support for Client Communications
- Help prepare presentation materials, pitch decks, and client updates.
- Respond to client inquiries by providing relevant data and insights.
- Collaboration with Other Departments
- Coordinate with sales, trading, and corporate teams to align research outputs with business needs.
- Participate in internal meetings to discuss research findings and strategy.
- Compliance and Data Confidentiality
- Ensure all research activities adhere to regulatory guidelines and company policies.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Continuous Learning and Development
- Keep abreast of industry best practices, new research tools, and market developments.
- Attend relevant training sessions and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
- Administrative Tasks
- Maintain organized files of research reports, data, and references.
- Assist in scheduling meetings and managing research-related documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or above in business related discipline, preferably with finance and/or accounting major from reputable foreign or local universities
- Minimum of 1 year relevant experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong financial modelling and Excel/ spreadsheet skills
- Excellent interpersonal sensitivity
- High sense of commercial awareness
- Excellent communication, relationship and management skills to both internal and external clients
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English
