Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Lead product formulation and New Product Development (NPD) activities, including establishing product specifications and monitoring development progress.
Evaluate new raw material requirements and oversee the resolution of rework and returned products.
Review and ensure the accuracy of Technical Data Sheets (TDS) and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
Conduct market and industry trend analysis to identify opportunities for new product development and innovation.
Monitor and analyze monthly R&D KPI performance and drive improvements to achieve departmental targets.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D, including managerial or leadership experience, preferably in the building materials industry.
Strong knowledge of chemical analysis of building materials, laboratory protocols (GLP), laboratory equipment, and product testing methods.
Strong product development, innovation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of raw materials, product specifications, and technical documentation.
