Research And Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead product formulation and New Product Development (NPD) activities, including establishing product specifications and monitoring development progress.
• Evaluate new raw material requirements and oversee the resolution of rework and returned products.
• Review and ensure the accuracy of Technical Data Sheets (TDS) and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
• Conduct market and industry trend analysis to identify opportunities for new product development and innovation.
• Monitor and analyze monthly R&D KPI performance and drive improvements to achieve departmental targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D, including managerial or leadership experience, preferably in the building materials industry.
• Strong knowledge of chemical analysis of building materials, laboratory protocols (GLP), laboratory equipment, and product testing methods.
• Strong product development, innovation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of raw materials, product specifications, and technical documentation.
