Accountabilities
- Work on complex technical projects with a global team in a fast-paced environment.
- Play an individual contributor role with high accountability.
- Document work and proactively communicate with team members.
- Contribute positively to small team dynamics as both an individual contributor and a team member.
- Manage infrastructure automation and provisioning.
- Ensure smooth operation of Compute and Storage infrastructure.
- Maximize uptime for global systems infrastructure across multiple data centers.
- Implement and manage Cloud and Managed Hosting infrastructure.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of Operating Systems, web servers, cluster management, auth/directory services, backups, SSL certificates, DNS, SNMP, SSH.
- Experience with Linux and Solaris operating systems, including daily upkeep.
- Familiarity with scripting/programming in Bash and Python.
- Knowledge of Virtualization technologies such as OpenStack and VMWare.
- Experience in setting up compute and storage infrastructure across private and public cloud environments.
