Accountabilities
- Build and implement RAG pipelines, including document chunking and embedding generation
- Integrate and maintain LLM APIs for effective streaming responses
- Develop agent orchestration logic for user request routing
- Create and maintain high-quality prompts for AI responses
- Implement frameworks for AI agent interactions with platform features
- Build evaluation frameworks to measure AI performance
- Integrate performance monitoring tools for cost and usage analysis
- Develop knowledge base ingestion pipelines
- Implement multi-turn conversation context management
- Collaborate with frontend engineers for real-time AI interactions
- Optimize API costs through effective caching and prompt engineering
- Write unit and integration tests for AI components
- Document AI systems and integration processes
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs like Claude or OpenAI
- Experience in building RAG systems using vector databases
- Understanding of embeddings and semantic similarity concept
- Familiarity with prompt engineering and optimization techniques
- Experience handling streaming responses and real-time data
- Strong Node.js backend development experience
- Familiarity with REST and GraphQL API design principles
- Strong understanding of async programming patterns
- Experience with Git workflows and CI practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
